Spiced Cranberry Buns

Ingredients

  • 300 g strong white flour
  • 50 g soft butter
  • 150 ml warm milk
  • 1 egg
  • 60 g dried cranberries
  • 40 g sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp mixed spice
  • 1 tsp fast‑action yeast

Instructions

  1. Mix flour, sugar, spices and yeast.
  2. Add milk, butter and egg; knead to a soft dough.
  3. Fold in cranberries.
  4. Rise 1 hour, shape into buns, rise again.
  5. Bake at 180°C for 18–20 minutes.
